O irm\u00e3o mais velho do filho pr\u00f3digo na par\u00e1bola de Jesus \u00e9 uma imagem viva dessas caracter\u00edsticas que sempre se alimentam da justi\u00e7a pr\u00f3pria.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Todo serm\u00e3o sobre o \u201cfilho pr\u00f3digo\u201d que ouvi na juventude terminava com a festa que o pai gracioso dava em comemora\u00e7\u00e3o ao retorno do seu filho arrependido. Como um filho da alian\u00e7a, esses serm\u00f5es me levaram a admirar a gra\u00e7a inexplic\u00e1vel concedida a esse esbanjador libertino.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No entanto, Jesus d\u00e1 continuidade \u00e0 hist\u00f3ria depois da festa. Entra o irm\u00e3o mais velho. Ele estava trabalhando em uma parte distante da fazenda. Ele voltou para casa no meio da festan\u00e7a. Em sua cultura, uma festa como aquela durava dias. Ele se perguntou qual evento havia causado essa manifesta\u00e7\u00e3o espont\u00e2nea. Os servos lhe disseram que o seu irm\u00e3o mais novo havia voltado para casa. O irm\u00e3o mais velho n\u00e3o compartilhou do entusiasmo de seu pai com rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao retorno de seu irm\u00e3o rebelde. Basicamente, ele disse: \u201cEsta festa \u00e9 para o meu irm\u00e3o ego\u00edsta, arrogante e ingrato? Meu pai tornou-se um velho tolo e bab\u00e3o\u201d. Ele foi para os seus aposentos e n\u00e3o queria ir \u00e0 festa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O pai veio e lhe implorou que participasse da celebra\u00e7\u00e3o. Ent\u00e3o, o filho explodiu de raiva: \u201cDeixe-me ver se eu entendi. Aquele seu filho l\u00e1 \u2013 aquele devasso ego\u00edsta, arrogante e ingrato \u2013 veio at\u00e9 voc\u00ea e disse que gostaria que estivesse morto. Ele tomou o que poderia manter tanto voc\u00ea quanto os interesses da nossa fam\u00edlia, e foi para uma cidade de \u00edmpios. Ele desperdi\u00e7ou todo o dinheiro pelo qual voc\u00ea trabalhou para o sustento do futuro da sua fam\u00edlia. Ele andou com prostitutas.
