Leia o artigo e aprenda mais sobre o assunto:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Certa vez ouvi algu\u00e9m definir o\u00a0<em>mil\u00eanio<\/em>\u00a0como um per\u00edodo de mil anos durante os quais os crist\u00e3os brigar\u00e3o por uma interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o apropriada do livro de Apocalipse. Embora seja engra\u00e7ada, essa defini\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 obviamente incorreta. Os crist\u00e3os t\u00eam discutido sobre a interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o adequada do livro de Apocalipse por dois mil anos. Em toda a seriedade, contudo, toda a discuss\u00e3o levou alguns crist\u00e3os a adotarem desesperadamente uma posi\u00e7\u00e3o que eles chamam de pan-milenismo (n\u00f3s n\u00e3o sabemos qual vis\u00e3o do mil\u00eanio est\u00e1 correta, mas sabemos que tudo vai ficar bem no final).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A palavra\u00a0<em>mil\u00eanio<\/em>\u00a0se refere aos \u201cmil anos\u201d mencionados em Apocalipse 20. Visto que esse cap\u00edtulo \u00e9 encontrado em um dos mais dif\u00edceis livros do Novo Testamento, sua interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o adequada \u00e9 pol\u00eamica. Como resultado, existem quatro vis\u00f5es principais do mil\u00eanio defendidas na igreja hoje: pr\u00e9-milenismo hist\u00f3rico, pr\u00e9-milenismo dispensacionalista, amilenismo e p\u00f3s-milenismo. Os prefixos\u00a0<em>pr\u00e9-<\/em>\u00a0e\u00a0<em>p\u00f3s-\u00a0<\/em>antes da palavra\u00a0<em>mil\u00eanio<\/em>\u00a0t\u00eam a ver com o momento da segunda vinda de Cristo em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao pr\u00f3prio mil\u00eanio. O termo\u00a0<em>pr\u00e9-milenismo<\/em>\u00a0se refere \u00e0 cren\u00e7a de que a Segunda Vinda ocorrer\u00e1 antes do mil\u00eanio. O termo\u00a0<em>p\u00f3s-milenismo<\/em>\u00a0se refere \u00e0 cren\u00e7a de que a Segunda Vinda ocorrer\u00e1 ap\u00f3s o mil\u00eanio. Na verdade, o amilenismo \u00e9 uma vers\u00e3o do p\u00f3s-milenismo nesse sentido, porque os amilenistas creem que a segunda vinda de Cristo ocorrer\u00e1 ap\u00f3s o mil\u00eanio.
