Ele disse: \u201cEu queria fazer grandes coisas para Deus!\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A resposta dele me fez tremer levemente. Eu me perguntei se ele acaso j\u00e1 lera alguma biografia de homens que fizeram \u201cgrandes coisas para Deus\u201d. Ele estava ciente do sacrif\u00edcio que vem com a \u201cgrandeza\u201d?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Muitos desses grandes indiv\u00edduos eram reformadores. Eles viram algo quebrado, sem dire\u00e7\u00e3o ou distorcido, e tomaram provid\u00eancias para mudar o rumo &#8211; ou reconstruir. Esses grandes indiv\u00edduos eram verdadeiros pastores: eram estudantes da Palavra que assumiram o encargo de proclam\u00e1-la. Eles agiram como profetas, n\u00e3o por meio da predi\u00e7\u00e3o, mas do discernimento: sendo capazes de falar com franqueza acerca do presente, \u00e0 luz do que havia sido escrito no passado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c9 isso o que um pastor faz. Ele ergue a Palavra de Deus e chama homens e mulheres a renovarem as suas mentes e a reformarem os seus caminhos.
