Ela assume que os muitos autores e os muitos livros da Escritura procedem de um \u00fanico autor divino e contam uma \u00fanica hist\u00f3ria \u2013 sobre Cristo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Parece um tanto acad\u00eamico? De fato \u00e9, por\u00e9m&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A disciplina da teologia b\u00edblica \u00e9 essencial para proteger e guiar a sua igreja. Ela protege a igreja contra falsas hist\u00f3rias e caminhos errados. Ela guia a igreja na dire\u00e7\u00e3o de uma prega\u00e7\u00e3o melhor, de pr\u00e1ticas melhores, de caminhos melhores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A teologia b\u00edblica como protetora da igreja<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pense, por exemplo, no liberalismo teol\u00f3gico. Ela reconta a narrativa da salva\u00e7\u00e3o como a obra de Deus para superar, digamos, a injusti\u00e7a econ\u00f4mica ou uma consci\u00eancia pol\u00edtica ego\u00edsta. Tais enredos redentivos podem n\u00e3o estar <em>de todo<\/em> errados, mas eles me lembram de como uma das minhas filhas costuma narrar uma briga com a sua irm\u00e3. Ela fala verdades, mas tamb\u00e9m omite detalhes, redistribui \u00eanfases, cria sutis conex\u00f5es interpretativas. Assim acontece com as narrativas do liberalismo em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao enredo b\u00edblico do evangelho.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O mesmo ocorre com o catolicismo romano, no qual os sacerdotes e os sacramentos desempenham um papel mediador que tem um cheiro forte da antiga alian\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ou com o evangelho da prosperidade, o qual tamb\u00e9m importa elementos da antiga alian\u00e7a para a nova, apenas no que diz respeito \u00e0s b\u00ean\u00e7\u00e3os.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Outros grupos n\u00e3o trazem o passado redentivo ao presente, mas trazem o futuro redentivo ao agora. Houve os anabatistas perfeccionistas, que pensaram poder trazer o c\u00e9u \u00e0 terra num piscar de olhos. Os liberais progressistas tentaram o mesmo um s\u00e9culo atr\u00e1s. Hoje, s\u00e3o os viciados em transforma\u00e7\u00e3o da cultura que apresentam sutis releituras do enredo b\u00edblico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A lista \u00e9 longa, quer pensemos em seitas \u201ccrist\u00e3s\u201d como o mormonismo e as testemunhas de Jeov\u00e1 ou em movimentos dentro da igreja, como o evangelho social, a teologia da liberta\u00e7\u00e3o, o messianismo americano ou algumas formas de separatismo fundamentalista. Alguns melhores, alguns piores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O ponto \u00e9 que evangelhos desequilibrados (ou falsos) e igrejas desequilibradas (ou falsas) s\u00e3o constru\u00eddos sobre \u201ctextos-prova\u201d descontextualizados de sua narrativa ou sobre enredos completamente destorcidos. Ou eles conectam erroneamente as principais alian\u00e7as da B\u00edblia, ou t\u00eam continuidade demais ou descontinuidade demais, ou falham em distinguir tipos de ant\u00edtipos, ou t\u00eam uma escatologia pouco realizada ou excessivamente realizada. Talvez eles prometam o c\u00e9u na terra agora; talvez eles tornem et\u00e9rea a vida espiritual presente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Em todo caso, teologias b\u00edblicas ruins ou desequilibradas proclamam um evangelho ruim ou desequilibrado, e tais evangelhos constroem igrejas ruins ou desequilibradas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entretanto, uma boa teologia b\u00edblica protege o evangelho e a igreja. \u201cUma teologia b\u00edblica robusta tende a resguardar os crist\u00e3os dos mais not\u00f3rios reducionismos\u201d, diz D.A. Carson.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Isso significa que \u00e9 dever do pastor (i) conhecer boa teologia b\u00edblica e (ii) ter alguma no\u00e7\u00e3o das m\u00e1s teologias b\u00edblicas que impactam a caminhada dos membros de sua igreja. Atualmente, muitas dessas pessoas foram desmamadas de alguma vers\u00e3o do evangelho da prosperidade.
