Carolyn McCulley:<\/strong>\u00a0Bem, eu acho que a coisa mais importante a ser entendida \u00e9 que\u00a0o feminismo \u00e9, de certa forma, a resposta \u00f3bvia e natural\u00a0para os problemas deste mundo \u00e0 parte do evangelho.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 parte do evangelho, essa ideologia parece perfeitamente l\u00f3gica,\u00a0pois o feminismo reconhece os problemas que realmente existem contra a mulher.\u00a0Mas a sua cosmovis\u00e3o molda a sua interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o do problema\u00a0e depois leva a uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0Ent\u00e3o, sem o evangelho, voc\u00ea ser\u00e1 conduzida em uma dire\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Ent\u00e3o, isso d\u00e1 a oportunidade para jovens mulheres na faculdade reconhecerem que pessoas que t\u00eam ideias diferentes delas n\u00e3o s\u00e3o suas inimigas,\u00a0que n\u00e3o devem brigar ou desprezar essas pessoas.\u00a0Devem reconhecer que essa \u00e9 uma oportunidade para falar a verdade sem medo.<\/p>\n

Com frequ\u00eancia me perguntam: “Voc\u00ea \u00e9 feminista?”\u00a0A defini\u00e7\u00e3o de “feminismo” \u00e9 muito ampla.\u00a0H\u00e1 muitas subcategorias e h\u00e1 muitos movimentos.\u00a0O que a maioria dos jovens adultos de nossos dias querem dizer com isso \u00e9:\u00a0“Voc\u00ea acredita que homens e mulheres s\u00e3o iguais?”\u00a0E \u00e9 nesse momento que o evangelho permite voc\u00ea entrar e dizer:\u00a0“Sim. Est\u00e1 na primeira p\u00e1gina da B\u00edblia.\u00a0Tanto o homem quanto a mulher foram criados \u00e0 imagem de Deus.\u00a0Ambos t\u00eam a mesma necessidade de um Salvador\u00a0e quando confiamos nele, somos igualmente co-herdeiros em Cristo”.<\/p>\n

Ent\u00e3o, se voc\u00ea come\u00e7ar com essas verdades fundamentais,\u00a0ao falar com as pessoas voc\u00ea pode ter mais confian\u00e7a\u00a0de que a sua resposta n\u00e3o \u00e9 o que a pessoa\u00a0est\u00e1 pensando que voc\u00ea est\u00e1 pensando, que \u00e9 que as mulheres s\u00e3o,\u00a0de alguma maneira, segunda classe na igreja,\u00a0pois n\u00f3s n\u00e3o somos.<\/p>\n

Ent\u00e3o, a cultura est\u00e1 realmente fazendo perguntas sobre o valor da mulher\u00a0e a Escritura \u00e9 muito clara sobre esse valor. Depois voc\u00ea tem que entender que, no Reino, todos servimos a Cristo\u00a0e ele pode atribuir a n\u00f3s os pap\u00e9is para avan\u00e7ar os seus objetivos\u00a0de acordo com a vontade dele, pois n\u00f3s servimos a ele.\u00a0Essa \u00e9 uma conversa secund\u00e1ria.<\/p>\n

A primeira e mais importante, para a cultura que faz perguntas,\u00a0s\u00e3o as quest\u00f5es fundamentais sobre o valor de sermos igualmente\u00a0criados \u00e0 imagem de Deus, como homens e mulheres.
