A gra\u00e7a \u00e9 o favor imerecido de Deus \u00e0s suas criaturas. Tal como Davi favorecendo Mefibosete por amor a Jonatas, assim tamb\u00e9m n\u00f3s somos alvos do favor de Deus por causa do amor de Deus Pai \u00e0 Deus Filho.<\/p>\n<p>Assim como Mefibosete se viu indigno do favor do Rei \u201cQuem \u00e9 o teu servo, para teres olhado para um c\u00e3o morto tal como eu?\u201d, assim tamb\u00e9m n\u00f3s devemos nos prostrar em face \u00e0 maravilhosa gra\u00e7a do Senhor em nos estender o seu favor na pessoa de Cristo. N\u00e3o temos o direito de estar diante de Deus, mas, unicamente pela Gra\u00e7a, temos o privil\u00e9gio de estarmos na presen\u00e7a dEle. Somos como um c\u00e3o morto diante de Deus, somente pela Sua infinita Gra\u00e7a \u00e9 que somos aceitos diante dEle em Cristo.<\/p>\n<p>A gra\u00e7a exalta a Deus e humilha o pecador. Aqueles que a si mesmo tem se considerado um c\u00e3o morto t\u00eam entendido o real significado da gra\u00e7a de Deus. Hoje onde ouvimos &#8220;eu determino&#8221;, &#8220;eu declaro&#8221;, &#8220;eu isso&#8221;, &#8220;eu aquilo&#8221;, tais pessoas nada sabem de Deus e muito menos da Sua gra\u00e7a, pois se acham dignos e merecedores das coisas que est\u00e3o reivindicando diante de Deus.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Auto-exame:<\/span><br \/>\n1) Voc\u00ea entra na presen\u00e7a de Deus humilde e confiadamente como um c\u00e3o dependendo exclusivamente da gra\u00e7a dele ou entra ousada e tolamente como uma pessoa n\u00e3o-convidada na corte real?<\/p>\n<p>2) voc\u00ea reconhece que: (1) o ar que voc\u00ea respirou agora e todo funcionamento biol\u00f3gico correto ou n\u00e3o do seu corpo, (2) todas suas posses ou aus\u00eancia de posses, (3) todos seus relacionamentos bons ou ruins, (4) e, principalmente, toda sua salva\u00e7\u00e3o, incluindo, sua f\u00e9, suas boas obras, seu novo cora\u00e7\u00e3o, sua perseveran\u00e7a na f\u00e9, sua santifica\u00e7\u00e3o e, no final, sua glorifica\u00e7\u00e3o vem exclusivamente pela gra\u00e7a? E se \u00e9 pela gra\u00e7a, voc\u00ea n\u00e3o tem o direito de se gloriar por nada?
